Mediation is More Cost Effective in Reaching your goals

(1) Adversarial Court Process: 100% legal/dispute resolution costs to be paid.

You pay for 2 or more lawyers, one for each party to the dispute, and court filing fees and disbursements, and FEO’s (Financial Expert Opinions) and have the added emotional stresses associated with court.

(2) Collaborative Legal Process: 70-85% of the legal/dispute resolution costs to be paid compared to #1

You pay for 2 or more lawyers, one for each party to the dispute, and disbursements, and FEO’s (Financial Expert Opinions) and have none of the emotional stresses associated with court.

(3) Mediation Process: 20 – 35% of the legal/dispute resolution costs to be paid compared to #1

You pay for 1 mediator for all the parties to the dispute, and disbursements and have none of the emotional stresses associated with court. You have the added opportunity and choice to seek ILA (Independent Legal advice) on any aspect in contention and the final agreement to be signed. You also have the added opportunity and choice to seek FEO’s (Financial Expert Opinions) on any financial matter in contention (valuation of the house and or business for example). That choice and the costs associated with it is totally in your control only. Travel costs could also be slashed by opting for the Web-conferencing Mediation process available through mediation.
